There are four draws every day — at 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 6pm — and the winning numbers are published shortly after each one. Because draws come around so often, you can check a ticket, see the result, and be entered into the next draw within a few hours. A quick refresher on how Keno works
If you’re checking a ticket, it helps to know exactly what you’re matching.
In Keno you choose up to 10 numbers from a pool of 1 to 80. In each draw, 20 numbers are drawn, and you win based on how many of your picks appear among them. The top prize is $250,000 for a $1 line, won by matching all 10 numbers on a 10-spot ticket — the odds of which are around 1 in 8.91 million. Lower tiers pay smaller amounts, and the exact prize depends on how many numbers you played, how many you matched, and your wager. If your ticket is a winner
Checking a ticket only tells you whether you’ve won — it doesn’t collect the prize. Smaller amounts are paid at any outlet or credited straight to your MyLotto wallet, while larger prizes are handled through a claim process with Lotto NZ.
